Alex was born in Pasadena located in California and was raised within Hancock Park, Los Angeles. Her father, Dr. Charles B. Witt is an acclaimed Los Angeles thoracic physician. Colette Witt is her mother. Charles Witt, and Walter Witt are her siblings. Witt could also be related in some way to George Washington, the first president of the United States. She is also a descendant of George Washington and a member of the National Society of Washington Family Descendants. Witt, who currently is in a relationship with Bill Sorensen (a television producer), They have two daughters who is named Caroline Sorensen and a son named Charlie Sorensen. They have two kids. They are Charlie Sorensen (son) and Caroline Sorensen.
